Chamber Music Performance and Study

SCM Oboe QuartetChamber Music Program

A foundational imperative for any music student is participation in a chamber music ensemble. The Seattle Conservatory’s Chamber Music program offers public performance opportunities and professional coaching sessions led by outstanding faculty coaches. Individual chamber music groups are formed to match every age and skill level, and the ensembles meet on Saturday mornings and afternoons before and after Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra rehearsals at Shorecrest High School. Chamber ensembles may also rehearse Saturday afternoons at Seattle Pacific University. Additional ensembles may receive coaching sessions on Saturday afternoons at Seattle Pacific University, and at locations on the Eastside.
