  • Prepare all audition requirements to your absolute best ability.
  • Immediately following the conclusion of the auditions, you will be notified by phone regarding your acceptance. If accepted, full tuition is due by October 10, 2017.
  • Students with pre-formed groups will be given placement priority.

Private Lesson Instruction
Every student is required to take regular private lessons with a teacher of his/her own choice. Private lesson fees are not included in tuition. Our office is happy to give instructor referrals to prospective students.

Program Selection Chamber Music Program only
The Chamber Music Program offers three interactive program sites:

  • The Monday afternoon program at Greenlake United Methodist Church
  • The Saturday morning program at Shorecrest High School for students enrolled in a SYSO orchestra
  • The Saturday afternoon program at Seattle Pacific University

Dedication to Practice and Studies
Because musicians must discipline themselves at an early age if they are to succeed professionally, students are expected to approach their practice and studies seriously and to observe all school regulations. Failure to do so may jeopardize a student’s standing, and he or she may be asked to withdraw from the school.

When illness or exceptional circumstances cause absence, students must notify their faculty. Permission to be absent from the Chamber Music Program requires the consent of all coaches. It is absolutely necessary that students attend all coaching and rehearsal sessions or their participation in performances will be jeopardized. Students removed from ensemble participation due to multiple absences will forfeit all tuition fees.
